Beyond the Destination: CCIS Added Value Programs

Traveling with CCIS is more than just a trip to a fun destination. We strongly believe in supporting education, which is why our trip participants gain access to our multi-faceted, Added Value Programs. In our history, we have awarded nearly $130,000 in scholarships, and taken several Research Trips, and hosted many client dinners. Check out our opportunities for students, group leaders and educators.

National $1,000 Student Scholarship

CCIS awards a $1,000 National Scholarship each year to a high school senior that participated on a CCIS or Discover Student Travel trip during the current school year. This scholarship is not based on financial need. Please be sure to submit all information requested in the application as one complete packet. Submission deadline is April 30, 2025, and the winner is announced May 24, 2025.

Teacher Grant Program

As a part of our ongoing commitment to support education, CCIS offers grants to educators that will enhance learning opportunities for their students. These grants are intended to help meet the funding challenges that a group might face because of budgetary shortfalls. For example, instrument repairs, piano tuning, new flags, or other classroom equipment/needs.  Up to $4,000 is awarded annually for Teacher Grants.

Student Travel Grants

A CCIS Student Travel Grant is financial aid granted to individuals who have been nominated by a teacher or youth group leader and who meet criteria within three categories: Need, Involvement, and Service. Send info to info@ccistravel.comUp to $5,000 is awarded annually for Student Travel Grants.

Frequent Traveler Program

Our Frequent Traveler Program (formerly Rewards Program) is designed to support group leaders and encourage them to attend professional conferences by helping defray the cost of attendance.

Groups earn points based on the amount spent with CCIS and then group leaders redeem those points to attend the professional conference of their choice! Larger or more frequent trips will get your group to the conference level quicker. All groups are automatically enrolled – start earning points with your first trip! CCIS covers conference registration, transportation, and lodging. Visit ccistravel.com for additional details.

Research Team Summit

We have redesigned our referral program! Introduce your friends and colleagues to CCIS and you can travel as our guest with other Research Team members to exciting destinations. Network, learn, and share with group travel professionals and other group leaders during these exciting educational excursions. Past Summit destinations include Paradisus La Perla Resort, Playa del Carmen, Mexico and in 2025 we will return to Bermuda for a 5-night Royal Caribbean Cruise.

Once 250 trip participants travel with CCIS as a result of your introductions, you and a guest will be invited to attend the next Research Team Summit! Ask your Account Executive for our Introductions Form. CCIS will bank all of your referrals from one season to the next and notify you when you are close and achieve 250 traveling trip participants.

Armada Club

Previously the 110 Club, the revamped Armada Club is dedicated to our larger groups who travel with more than two full motorcoaches. We love bringing these group leaders together to connect, network and to celebrate their groups!
